翻译理论在英语本科与MTI翻译教材中的比例与布局

The Proportion and Overall Arrangement of Translation Theories in Translation Textbooks forUndergraduates of English Major and MTI

摘要: 通过比较统计英语本科与MTI翻译教材中的翻译理论,本文发现,两类翻译教材中的翻译理论(尤其是翻译概论)重复率较高,英语本科比MTI翻译教材中的翻译理论更多、更难,需要统筹布局。文章认为应依据培养目标,并综合有关翻译理论与实践权重的研究,决定翻译理论在两类翻译教材中的比例;依据先易后难,实用优先,在翻译教材中同一翻译理论的出现频率越高越优先布局的原则,决定翻译理论在两类翻译教材中的布局。

Abstract: Statistics from this comparative study show that there is much repetition of translation theories in translation teaching books for Undergraduates of English major and MTI,and there are more,even more difficult translation theories for English major undergraduates,so it is necessary to make overall arrangement.The proportion of translation theories in the two kinds of books can be determined by the education aims of the two kinds of student,based on the studies of weights of translation theory and practice;and the overall arrangement of translation theories in the two kinds of book should follow the principle:put the translation theories in the order of difficulty, practicability and appearing frequency, and select the easier,the more practical and more common translation theories for undergraduates of English major.
