摘要:

认知学派是二十世纪三场语言学革命中的最后一场,但其自身也存在诸多不足。为体现语言研究中的马列主义唯物论和后现代哲学的人本观,本文拟将其修补为“体认语言学”(ECL),其核心原则为“现实—认知—语言”,即语言是人们对现实世界进行“互动体验”(体)和“认知加工”(认)的结果,批判与修正了索绪尔的语言先验论和乔姆斯基的语言天赋论。如若谈及现实世界中的运动必然涉及“物理参照点”,Langacker基于此概念提出了“认知参照点”,本文依据ECL将其修补为“体认参照点”(ECRP)。本研究同时认为这是一种常见的体认方式,有助于人们确立相对概念以及概念间的关系,也是人们常用的思维方式和解决问题的基本策略。本文重点解释了英语语言中基于ECRP所形成的若干构式。

Abstract:

The Cognitive School was the last of the three revolutionary approaches in twentieth-century linguistic studies, and it still has a few shortcomings. Consequently, it can be revised into “embodied-cognitive linguistics” (ECL) so as to reflect Marxist-Leninist materialism and Postmodernist humanism in linguistic research. Its core principle is “reality-cognition-language”; that is to say, language is the result of our interactive embodiment (ti) of the outside world and cognitive processing (ren), with which we can criticize Saussurean transcendentalism and Chomskyan nativism. When talking of motion in the real world, we have to refer to a “physical reference point”, which is conceptualized as “the cognitive reference point” by Langacker. Accordingly, his term can be revised as the “embodied-cognitive reference point” (ECRP) in line with ECL. We believe that this is a common embodied-cognitive strategy that can help us to determine a relative concept and the relationships among concepts; it is also a popular way of thinking and a basic method for solving problems. This paper will focus on how numerous English constructions are formed based on ECRP.
