摘要： 本论文采用动物研究方法，探讨了托拜厄斯 • 沃尔夫的短篇小说《她的狗》中的主体变化过程。论文认为小说围绕着人和动物之间的关系层层深入，逐渐揭示了人类中心主义的局限；最终，主人公学会了从后人类角度来重新审视主体在自然界中的位置。本文的动物研究视角不仅使沃尔夫研究走出了“简约主义”的局限，还重新构建了跨类认同中的兽形对比理论。

Abstract: This essay adopts an animal study approach to analyze the changing process of subjectivity of the protagonist in Tobias Wolff’s Her Dog. With his deepening understanding of the canine-human relationship, John the protagonist comes to realize anthropocentric constraints and learns to reexamine the position of men in nature from posthumanism perspective. This paper not only broadens the scholarship on Tobias Wolff from its current minimalism tag, but also makes theoretical revisions of Cross-Species Identifications to accentuate zoomorphic post-humanism.
