语段动态拼读模式与线性化再分析

A Phase Theoretic Approach to Dynamic Cyclic Spell-out and Linearization

摘要: 本文在MP语段理论(PT)下结合推导对称假设阐明循环推导和多重拼读的本质是动态拼读;语段作为循环拼读单位以单循环生成计算取消了多循环(如LF和隐性循环);进而结合动态拼读和投射论证了优选线性化和循环拼读域的再界定。在强势最简论(SMT)下解析了句法音系接口的语段证据以及音系接口施加的线性化接口条件(语序是AP/SM线性化的反映)。研究证实不对称合并是线性化的最根本条件;在接口条件下,降低运算负荷的推导成为语段循环线性化的动因。

Abstract: Within the PT of MP combined with the derivational symmetry hypothesis, this paper clarifies the fact that the nature of cyclic phasal derivations and multiple spell-out(MSO)is dynamic spell-out. And the phases that function as cyclic spell-out units substitute multiple spell-out and single cycle operations with periodic transfers to interfaces for multiple cycles. Particularly we testify the optimal linearizationand specify the redefinition of cyclic spell-out domain (SOD)along with dynamic spell-out and projection with labels. Under strong minimalist thesis(SMT)and NTC, this article reanalyzes the phasal evidence for syntax- phonology interface and the interface conditions i.e., linearity and distinctness conditions imposed by AP/SM PHON interface system. Asymmetric merge is the essential condition of linearization.Under interface conditions , the derivations reducing computational complexity motivate phasal cyclic linearization.
