Spanish Reading Comprehension: A Component Skill Analysis

摘要： 学者们就语言阅读技能提出的模型相对较多，“技能成分分析”模型是其中之一，它致力于探究有哪些因素对阅读有贡献作用。目前，基于“技能成分分析”视角的阅读理解研究日益增多，但是关于小语种阅读理解的研究相对较少。有鉴于此，本文以中国的西班牙语专业学生为被试，探讨了语音／正字法／句法／语义加工能力对西班牙语阅读理解以及汉语、英语阅读理解对西班牙语阅读理解的贡献。结果发现：仅西班牙语的语义与语音加工能力可以预测西班牙语阅读理解。其中语义加工能力的贡献最大，而语音加工能力次之；英语阅读理解能预测西班牙语阅读理解，但汉语阅读理解却不能。

Abstract: Various models have been proposed to explain what factors contribute to reading comprehension and Component Skill Analysis ranks among those favorite models. Though more and more researches have been conducted along this line, few of them focus on Spanish reading comprehension．Given this, the present study explored the possible contributions of phonological, orthographic, syntactic, semantic processing,as well as Chinese / English reading comprehension，to Spanish reading comprehension, with Chinese SFL（Spanish as Foreign Language students as participants．It is found that Semantic Processing contributes most while Phonological Processing comes second; in addition, Englishreading comprehension could predict Spanish reading comprehension while Chinese reading comprehension could not.
