摘要： 本文以新历史主义文学批评方法考察禁酒时期和禁酒令实施前后福克纳的生平，并分析福克纳在禁酒时期创作的《圣殿》文本中的社会存在以及《圣殿》文本周围的社会存在，这有助于理解美国的禁酒时期文学与法律之间的互动关系以及《圣殿》的创作与禁酒令文化之间的互文性。

Abstract: The life of Faulkner，the social rules and dictates found within Sanctuary，and a reflection of the historical situation as evidenced in the novel from the perspective of New Historicism have been fully explored，which is conducive to understanding the interaction between literature and law in the Prohibition, and the inter-textuality between the literary creation of Sanctuary and Prohibition culture．
