Abstract:

Burns was one of the earliest foreign poets to be introduced to China. His poems have been disseminated for a long time and have been studied extensively, which indicates that his poems are of tremendous literary value and have great research potential. From the perspective of Translator Behavior Criticism, this paper studies the translator behaviors of four translators, namely Yuan Shuipai, Yuan Kejia, Wang Zuoliang and Li Zhengshuan, from the two aspects of extra-translation and intra-translation to analyze their translator behaviors as influenced by the historical context, translation principles, and literary positions, as well as their behaviors when they convey the original meaning, rhythm, and style. The aim is to provide new contributions to the study of Burns’ poetry and to research on translator behaviors.

彭斯是最早被译介到中国的欧美诗人之一，其诗歌传播时间之久，研究数量之大，表明其具有极大的文学价值和研究潜力。本文在译者行为批评视域内，从翻译外和翻译内两个方面出发，分别对袁水拍、袁可嘉、王佐良和李正栓4位译者进行研读，探讨他们在历史语境、翻译原则和文学阵地影响下的译者行为，以及他们在传达原文意义、韵律和风格时表现出的译者行为，希望可以为彭斯诗歌研究和译者行为研究作出一定贡献。
