Abstract:

This paper, which traces the origin and research status of corpus-based translation studies, highlights the disadvantages of current corpus-based translation studies, and proposes that translation studies based on multilingual corpora should be conducted to expand and deepen corpus-based translation studies. It is argued that the main topics in translation studies that are based on multilingual corpora include translation universals, translation norms, translation units, and translation strategies and methods. Translation studies that are based on multilingual corpora will not only overcome the limitations of the current corpus-based translation studies that rely excessively on monolingual or bilingual corpora and expand corpus-based translation studies, but will also provide an important basis for the study of translation theory that will have universal significance and will promote the development of general translation studies.

摘要：

本文在梳理语料库翻译学缘起和研究现状的基础上，分析了目前语料库翻译学研究存在的不足，提出应开展基于多语语料库的翻译研究，以拓展并深化语料库翻译学研究。我们认为，基于多语语料库的翻译研究的主要议题包括翻译共性、翻译规范、翻译单位和翻译策略与方法等研究。基于多语语料库的翻译研究，不仅能够克服目前语料库翻译学过于依赖单语或双语语料库的局限，深化语料库翻译学研究，而且可以为具有普遍性意义的翻译理论研究提供重要的物质基础，推进普通翻译学的构建与发展。
