Abstract: Knowledge of English collocations plays an important role in promoting learners’ language ability in the business context. Little attention is paid to collocations in Business English instruction, making collocations one of the most problematic areas for learners. This article aims to address the issue through a corpus-based cognitive analysis of the collocational features of some lexical items from the domain of Business English. On the basis of the analysis, the article argues for an effective corpus-based approach to business English collocations that involves teaching certain types of collocations by considering the cognitive factors which influence the collocational process.

摘要: 词语搭配知识对提高商务英语学习者的语言能力具有重要作用。目前商务英语课堂对搭配教学重视不够,造成学习者搭配能力欠缺。本文基于认知语言学的相关理论,通过语料库检索与考察,对商务英语在词语搭配层面上表现出的组合特征进行认知分析,认为借助语料库,从语言认知方面解析搭配理据是开展商务词语搭配教学的有效途径。
