Abstract( )   [HTML]()   PDF(3506KB)( )
With the development of tourism, people tend to participate in more personalized and customized travel. High cost and long time-consuming of traditional “face to face” travel can hardly meet the need of booming individualized tourism market;therefore, an effective mass customization method for travel service is in urgent need. Based on the concept of internet platform strategy, beginning with the literature review, the research tries to put forward a modular customization approach of essential factors of tourism products, hoping to structure a brand new business mode of tourism mass customization which connects both the party in supply and in demand. Meanwhile, the internal and external supportive conditions for this business mode have been briefly discussed and illustrated, hoping to lay foundations for the further research.

Abstract( )   [HTML]()   PDF(4406KB)( )
Based on vector auto-regression model, cointegration test, Granger causality test, variance decomposition and the relevant data of China from 1985 to 2012, this paper makes an empirical study on the interactive development of tourism industry and service industry in China. It indicates that there is a long-term stability cointegration relation among domestic tourism, Inbound tourism and service industry, elasticity of domestic tourism and inbound tourism to service industry are respectively at about 0.48 and 0.24. With a one-way causal relationship from LNSER to LNDT, service industry fluctuation is mainly affected by fluctuation of itself and inbound tourism consumption fluctuation, domestic tourism fluctuation is mainly affected by fluctuation of itself and inbound tourism, which in turn is mainly affected by fluctuation of itself and domestic tourism. Based on the research conclusions, suggestions are put forward to accelerate the mutual development of tourism and service industry. To promote the interactive development of tourism industry and service industry, great important needs to be attached to the development of tourism industry in the long term and strategic height, many kinds of measures should be taken to spur inbound tourism and domestic tourism to strengthen their pulling effect on service industry, comprehensive development of service industry should be further promoted to create good conditions and environment for more rapid development of tourism industry.

Journal of Beijing International Studies Universit, 2014, 36(11): 29-.
Abstract( )   [HTML]()   PDF(4119KB)( )
The public service quality improvement of Chinese cruise home port service standard carries vital theoretical and practical value. Firstly, based on the domestic and foreign literature reviewed, this paper analyzedthe service function and reception processes of cruise home port. Then, taking China’s largest international cruise port -Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal as an example, it proposed the principles and system construction of cruise homeport service standards based on questionnaires and interviews, outlining the three dimensional four categorical service reception standard system diagram and designing Shanghai Wusongkou international cruise terminal service standards content. Finally, some suggestions and countermeasures for Chinese cruise home port standardization construction from the national and local level are presented.

Journal of Beijing International Studies Universit, 2014, 36(11): 37-.
Abstract( )   [HTML]()   PDF(4162KB)( )
It has been two centuries for seaside tourism in Europe, with several stages of evolution. During the period, the European acted from fear of water and sea to entertainment with water and sea, from sun escaping to sun tanning. Meantime, tourists also spread from the elite to the general public. Its development process went through a series of power transformation: from private autonomy, to government-led, to joint management of multi-actors. Accordingly, the exploitation of seaside tourism performed from out-of-order to orderly development. Evolution of each stage was closely associated with social and cultural movements in Europe. The linear logic with “Theory of Evolution” is untenable, which refers to the consistency of types of activity and behaviors of Chinese and western tourists after so-called mature stage of tourism market in China. However, Chinese seaside tourism development, just like that of European’ s, must and will be the multi-function space for multi-actors with joint protection, joint management and mutual possession within competition and cooperation.

Abstract( )   [HTML]()   PDF(3493KB)( )
The contradiction between supply and demand of city tourism has become more and more prominent with the rapid development of tourism industry, how to evaluate the balance between tourism supply and demand systems in destinations rationally has been becoming a realistic dilemma for city planners. The paper analyzes the relationship of coordinative development between inbound tourism demand system and city supply system in Beijing using coupling theory in physics. Results show that the contradiction between inbound tourism demand and supply in Beijing has been in a dynamic evolution, coupling degree of demand and supply system is in antagonistic stage, the two systems have not reached the stage of benign resonance coupling. Whereas, the coordination effect between supply and demand systems has been increasing year by year;the coupling coordination degree of tourism supply and demand system of Beijing city is in the primary coordination stage currently. Tourism resources and air transport in supply system correlate highly with demand system;it should be taken efforts to improve the quality of them for Beijing future tourism development.

It found that there were some differences between general audience and professional audience in the motivation and preparation before the exhibitions, attention, degree of understanding on the exhibitions, state and preference of activities and recall after the exhibitions. Therefore, curators may carry out pertinence and differentiation market positioning, product design and market promotion according to different types of audience’s motivations and features of audience’sexperience.
