Abstract:

Studies of foreign language teaching materials, as a quintessential component of foreign language education, play a pivotal role in the discipline’s long-term development and in the cultivation of international Chinese talents with the high degree of quality that is required by the country and by society. Construction of Foreign Language Teaching Materials in China: Theory and Practice, which was published in 2021, collates representative studies in the field of foreign language teaching materials spanning the past 30 years, and focuses on textbook compilation, textbook analysis and use, textbook evaluation, and the history of and prospects for textbook construction. The book not only reviews the historical process of China’s foreign language textbook construction, but also provides many suggestions for future research.

摘要:

外语教材研究是外语教育学学科的重要组成部分,对促进外语学科长效发展具有重要意义,同时服务于培养国家和社会所需要的综合素质过硬的国际化人才。2021年出版的《中国外语教材建设:理论与实践》汇聚了国内外语教材研究领域30年来具有代表性的研究成果,聚焦教材编写、教材分析与使用、教材评价、教材综述与展望等维度,既回顾了我国外语教材建设的历史进程,又为未来外语教材研究提供了多方面的借鉴与参考。
