The Development of Foreign-Language Teaching Materials in Higher Education from the Perspective of New Quality Productive Forces: Challenges and Pathways

摘要:

外语教材是高校培养高质量人才的重要资源支持,相应教材编写研究至关重要。本研究阐述了新质生产力的理念及其赋能外语教材编写的理据,并结合相关数据,指出当前高校外语教材存在内容更新滞后、重知识轻能力以及新形态教材促学助教功能不足等问题。针对这些问题,本研究进一步从编写理念、编写内容、呈现形式、编写团队和编写机制等维度探讨了高校外语教材编写的路径,以期为建设高质量外语教材提供一定借鉴。

Abstract:

Foreign-language teaching materials are crucial resources for cultivating high-quality talents in higher education, making research on the development of teaching materials essential. The concept of new quality productive forces and the rationale for empowering the development of foreign-language teaching materials were explored in this study. Based on relevant data, it identified the main problems with current foreign-language teaching materials in higher education, such as outdated content, an overemphasis on knowledge over skills, and the insufficient support of new forms of materials for both teaching and learning. Furthermore, this study discusses several pathways for the development of foreign-language teaching materials, including ideas, content, the presentation format, the team structure, and mechanisms with the aim of providing insights that will facilitate the construction of high-quality foreign-language teaching materials.
